The wedding was held at St Nonna's Church in Alternun. They used both the exterior and the interior of this church for filming. |

The reception was held at the Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel. They used both the exterior and the interior for filming. This is the third time that this building has served as a filming location. |

We see the taxi taking Martin to the church coming down the hill from Port Isaac toward Port Gaverne. We then see it go past the Port Gaverne. Finally, it arrives at the church in Artarnun. |

I haven't located this shot, but it is obviously near Brown Willy and Rough Tor, so it's in the same vicinity of the other filming. This is also the same location as the scene near the end of the episode when Martin and Louisa are walking toward civilization with his patient in the wheelbarrow. |

In this shot, Bert is driving along a road that runs right next to the Crowdy Reservoir. Of course, Mark Crowdy is Executive Producer of Doc Martin and he is from this area of Cornwall. I expect that there is a family relationship here. They often film in this area. |

These are the areas where we know they filmed parts of the drive to the Honeymoon Lodge. The red circle at top is the old Davidstow Airfield, where they often film. We saw photos of the classic limousine in that area during filming. The red circle just below that is the spot next to Crowdy Reservoir where we have a match (see above). The red circle at the bottom is the intersection where we can see the signpost referencing Treswigga and Deacons. The large black circle is the area where I believe they filmed the wide open shots - the one with the grazing horse on the way to the lodge and the one with Bellamy in the wheelbarrow. There are no Google Street Views to verify. The white circle is the location of the wedding. |

Many of us thought we'd never find this lodge because it seemed like it was in a very remote location. I had scoured Google satellite maps and had pretty much given up. Then, one day several months back, Bev Teague posted a photograph of it - I was so excited! Turns out it is very nearby her in Crackington Haven. When she pinpointed the location, I went to Google Maps and it just wasn't there. But I tried Apple Maps and Bing Maps and found it. It's actually so easy to find that you can get a glimpse of it from Google Street View. So much for the magic of film, making us believe it was in a completely remote location. So, here's the story about why it's not on the Google satellite map. In August 2004, there was a severe storm that hit Cornwall and created a flash flood in the town of Boscastle (just up the coast from Port Isaac). This is a very well known event because it just about destroyed the picturesque harbour area. Several people had to be rescued, but amazingly no lives were lost. If you just search on "Boscastle flood" you can read amazing stories, and see incredible photos and videos of the disaster. This actually happened shortly after they filmed the first series of DM. What I never realized, because it's not always mentioned in this story, is that one other place was affected, and that was Crackington Haven, which is just up the coast from Boscastle. In Crackington Haven there were several homes and business flooded and two homes were destroyed in the flood. One of them was, you guessed it, the original home on the property where the Honeymoon Lodge now sits (incidentally, the name of the lodge is "Camryn" and it appears to be a private residence). So, the lodge was rebuilt (no idea how the original building looked), and it was the fairly new building that was used for this location. Google Maps (as of July 2015) still has not updated their satellite view in this area, but you can see it on Apple and Bing maps. |

Here are two overviews of Crackington Haven showing the location of the Honeymoon Lodge. |

Notice that the stream almost wraps around the building and there is a footbridge in front. In the screenshot above, Louisa is standing at the entrance to the footbridge and she and Martin cross it to get to the lodge. Again, film magic. I never suspected that there was a stream there or that they were crossing a bridge as they walked to the porch stairs. |

The only place I have identified (again, thanks to Bev Teague) in these scenes is the lane where Martin and Louisa walk as they leave the lodge. This is a lane off the main road heading south out of Crackington Haven. Notice that the gate next to Martin in the second picture matches the gate in the photo that Bev took. The Google Street View only shows the entrance to the lane. |

I haven't located this shot, but it is obviously near Brown Willy and Rough Tor. It appears to be the same road we saw in one of the shots when Bert was driving them to the lodge. There are several roads in that area that are not visible on Google Street View. |

These shots in the woods at night are beautifully shot and staged, but they may be impossible to locate. This area of Cornwall has many different woods and forests and they could have used just about any of them. |
