| The Slipway Hotel sits at the foot of Church Hill, with a large awninged patio facing the harbour. There is another entrance on the Church Hill side, up an outdoor flight of stairs. On the back of the building there are two large windows facing a small pass-through to Middle Street with the entrance to Greengates directly across. On the Middle Street side of the building (near the back) there is a large bay window hanging over the leat. |

| The outdoor covered dining area has been used a few times for short scenes. The three times when characters were actually sitting there having (or trying to have) a meal or drink were Series 1, Episode 2 when the waitress told Martin they were out of everything because he had fired Elaine, and Series 2, Episode 4 when Mark was picking out a table for his date with Julie followed by Louisa and Carolyn meeting up for a drink. |
