Bark House is a holiday let.

It is believed that it was originally
built by Dr Frederick Trevan, who
lived in Trevan house directly
behind.  Bark House was built in
front of Trevan House and you can
see that it obscures the right side
of Trevan House.  It is said that
Bark House was used as a carriage
house and also as the surgery for
Dr Trevan.

The building was later converted
and used as a "barking house."
Barking was the process of
immersing fishermens' nets in a
preservative made from tree bark.
