| Geldenhuis is a holiday let. The address is on Dolphin St and the main entrance is on the narrow sloped walkway that leads up to Rose Hill. The tall houses on either side open up to Rose Hill, but Geldenhuis has no door or windows leading directly to Rose Hill, just one window at the corner of the house. |

| There have been two Doc Martin scenes shot right outside this cottage. In Series 1, Episode 5, Al starts walking down the lane and Elaine is leaning against a window in Chicago House, the house Louisa lived in for Series 2 - and probably Series 1. In this scene you can see the corner window, the entrance door and the address plaque. In Series 2, Episode 8, Danny comes running up the lane between the houses and finds Louisa on the street to tell her about his new job in London. When the camera moves to a long shot as Louisa walks away, you can see the cottage behind Danny (the shorter building). |
