The little building at the top of the
hill is actually the coastguard
lookout station on the south side
of the harbour at Boscastle.
The church with the surrounding
cemetery is Forrabury Church in
Boscastle.

Morwenna's window at night

One evening this episode, the camera
pans along cottages on Church Hill and we
see first one and then a second window lit
up.  We then are inside Morwenna's
bedroom.  She is having a sleepless night
mourning her grandfather.

These are the two windows that we see lit
up.  Local artist, Lizzie Lovegood wrote
about the crew setting up the light in her
bedroom for this shot - the one on the left.

Dennis Dodds' house & building site

The morning after the disastrous dinner
party, Louisa goes to Dennis' house to
clear the air.  Karen tells her that he is at
the building site across the street.
.
.
This is the house that Dennis was
working on.  The large window is
where the new balcony is located
(right where Louisa ran into the
glass door).  

This is actually the same house that
was used for the Rix house in S2E1.  
The picture to the left is similar to
how the house looked when they
filmed that episode in 2005.  The
house was sold a few years ago and
if you look at the closeup map below
you can see that it is under
construction.  This is probably why it
was chosen for this scene because it
was already a construction site.
