Aunt Ruth and Al walk down Dolphin Street from her house to her car parked at Middle Street and Dolphin Street. In the second screenshot, they are passing the opening to Squeeze Belly Alley. They continue through the spot where Dolphin Street narrows considerably at Bark House (red door) and then stop to talk just past St Sampson (cottage with the light blue trim), just a few steps from the intersection where the car is parked. |

Villager stops Louisa on her way home |

When Louisa is walking home from work and shopping, a villager confuses her by asking after the doc and saying he must be used to it. Louisa, at that point, had not heard about Martin being sick after tending to Penhale. |

Bert and Jenny have two scenes along the coast in this episode. In both scenes, they are at Pentire Point, along the coast, west of Port Isaac. You can see the stone tower at Stepper Point across the bay and parts of the towns of Polzeath and Trebetherick in the distance behind Jenny. |

As Aunt Ruth and Al are getting out of her car at the intersection of Middle Street and Dolphin Street, Aunt Ruth is surprised to see Margaret walking down Fore Street (past the platt) with the baby. |

They used a cottage called Cliff Cottage. It's located at the top of Fore Street and is highly visible as you come up Fore Street with the stone facade and two gothic windows. It is also next to the walkway down to the cottage where Louisa lived during her pregnancy in Series 4. The cottage has a garden going down to the edge of the cliff, and as you can see in the pictures below, it's aptly named. |

The pole where Penhale staples his thumb is near the top of Church Hill, right across from the building that was used as the police station in Series 4. In the picture to the left below, you can see the pole and the stone building adjacent. The picture on the right is a more recent street view photo that shows the buildings have been completely remodeled and the pole is now gone. The two circled poles in the distance are both visible in the screenshots. |

Notice the round plaque that says "Cliff Cottage" next to the door. In the screenshot above that you can see where they removed it for the filming. |

Cliff cottage is just uphill from the school (yellow circle). In between the two buildings are the two cottages where Louisa lived in Series 3 and Series 4. |
