Radio Portwenn |
. |
For this series, Radio Portwenn has moved to the second floor of The Edge Restaurant. |
. |
I found this shot of the green wall being built. Was it for Doc Martin? |
. |
The Edge Restaurant is on New Rd right next to the car park on the coastal path. (also right across from the Bay Hotel) |

Morwenna's House |
. |
. |
This is the house where Morwenna lived with her grandfather in S5 and now is her house. The house where it is filmed is called "Sibby's House" and is located on Rose Hill, two doors down the hill from the house where Louisa lived in S2 |
. |
Two views of the front of the house. The one on the left is looking up the hill. You can see the tall white house in the background is "Chicago House" This is the house that Louisa lived in for S2 |

Chemist |
. |
. |
For Series 1 and 2, the chemist was located in two different locations in the village. Starting in Series 3, the Chemist has found a home in a shop on Church Hill at Fore St. The shop is actually a sweet shop called "The Buttermilk Shop". |

Bert's Restaurant |
. |
. |
. |
Bert's Restaurant is filmed on the patio of a private residence on Roscarrock Hill. The production only has access to the patio. There was a kitchen set for the restaurant built at the farm for S3 & S4, but they only used the outdoor patio in Series 6. The house is called "Halwyn" and was originally a shipyard built in the mid 1800s. |

The interiors were also filmed in this house. You can see that the living room/kitchen area opens right onto the glassed in porch at the back of the house. This kitchen also stood in on S2E8 for Julie Mitchell's kitchen. The exterior of her house was The Pump on Middle Street, but they used this kitchen for the interior scenes. |

Police Station |
. |
. |
. |
. |
. |
. |
For series 1-4, the Police Station had four different locations. In Series 5, it moved to this location on the beach at Port Gaverne. So far, through filming of Series 7, it has remained at this site. |
. |
Based on views we've seen through the windows, I believe they are using this building for the interior scenes. |

Aunt Ruth's House |
. |
. |
. |
In Series 6, Aunt Ruth decides to lease cottage in the village rather than stay isolated out at the farm. The cottage is located on Dolphin Street and is a holiday let called Homelands. The interiors appear to be shot in this cottage based on the views we see out the windows. |

Crab & Lobster |
. |
. |
The entrance to the local pub (Crab & Lobster) is usually through the door to the left of The Mote (red circle below). Most of the time, The Golden Lion Pub in Port Isaac (located behind The Mote) is used as the interior (however, in series 2 and 4, they shot most of the interiors in other pubs). For Series 6 they shot all of the interiors at The Golden Lion Pub |
. |
. |
Although everyone enters the Crab & Lobster through the doorway off the Platt (small circle at right), they usually end up in the interior of The Golden Lion (large circle at right). The sign below appears to indicate the entrance to the pub, and we have seen them use that blue door. But the blue door is actually the entrance to a holiday rental (Tides Reach). Even during the years that the production had to use the interior of a different out of town pub, if a balcony scene was required they used the balcony of The Golden Lion. You can see people on the balcony at the lower left of the building. |

Below are interior and exterior shots of The Golden Lion. The entrance to the pub is actually on Fore Street, which is the opposite side of the building from where we see people enter the Crab & Lobster from the Platt. In Series 6 we only saw the pub in episode 6. Early in the episode we see Malcolm in the pub drinking after he convinces himself that he is dying. Later, Al watches Morwenna and Mike Pruddy walking toward the pub and they emerge on the balcony for their first (and only) date. Interestingly, they enter the pub right where you can see the old cannon (in the lower right area of the large circle in the picture above) and not next to The Mote as has been the case in the past. Also, in Episode 7, Al and Morwenna are walking and decide to go for a drink and they head up Fore Street, which is where you would normally walk to get to The Golden Lion. |
