Martin strides through the village

In the first scene of Martin leaving the Surgery, he creates havoc as he strides purposefully through the village to
Aunt Ruth's house.

At the bottom of the hill he turns onto Fore Street and as he
walks past the Fish Cellars he brushes past two fisherman
causing them to spill a container of fish into the street.

As Martin continues past the fishermen, Joe starts walking
beside him and tries to reassure him that Louisa will be back
soon.  Joe is walking backwards trying to get Martin's
attention and as he turns around he runs into a shopper,
knocking her to the ground right in front of two approaching
vehicles.

Martin, oblivious to all of the chaos around him, turns onto
Middle Street.  We next see him walking up Dolphin Street
toward Aunt Joan's house.

As Martin starts walking down Roscarrock Hill he
walks right through the gaggle of girls who heckle
him over Louisa's absence.

This is the route Martin takes walking from the Surgery to Aunt Ruth's house.  The Surgery is circled in red on the left
and Aunt Ruth's house is circled in red on the right.  The yellow circles are the spots where Martin walks through the
gaggle of girls, causes the fishermen to spill the container of fish, and where Joe runs into the shopper.

A very short scene of Steve running on the coastal path.  This was taken right next to the road just east of Port
Gaverne.  The path comes up to the road right across from the Headlands Hotel, which has been used for filming
several times - for Radio Portwenn, Wilson Hotel, and an unnamed restaurant.

beach in front of the building where they launch and land the lifeboat.

These scenes were filmed at Lansallos Cove, which is located just east of Fowey.  The beach is almost due south of
Port Isaac on the southern coast of Cornwall.
