the surgery is open. Also waiting for him is Edith Montgomery who says he obviously has problems with
intimacy but that she is still looking forward to seeing him in London. Among his patients that day is
Tommy the taxi driver but it is only when his wife collapses on the dock does Martin realize what they are
suffering from. When he learns Louisa is in Tommy's taxi, he races after her. When Tommy loses
consciousness and crashes his car, Louisa is unhurt but goes into labor.
