A group of people are standing on The Platt (many with drinks in hand) when Martin walks by and Louisa beckons him over. She has just purchased two tickets to the Portwenn Players' Dance and she offers one to him, but he declines.

Mrs Potter's house is on Roscarrock Hill, just up and across from the Surgery. The interior scenes were filmed on the ground floor of this cottage. The home has a very prominent place on the top of the cliff above the harbour.

Martin walks into the auto repair shop but finds his car is not ready. This is in the garage attached to the petrol station that was used in S1E2. You can see over Martin's shoulder the garage across the street - the windows over the door and the large brackets. In real life, the petrol station used to be painted gold and blue but is now painted white and is no longer a petrol station - just a garage.

Martin drives out to Stewart's house. Thanks to Bev Teague for finding the first location. Martin stops to get his bearings and we can see a building in the background. As the camera pans to the left we can see a grouping of windmills far in the distance. Then, the camera continues to pan left as Martin makes a slight right turn and we see where he is heading - it's through a cattle grid with fencing on either side of the road. Bev found this at an intersection at Davidstow Airfield, which is a location they often use for filming.

Recently, Bev Teague found Stewart's house! It is east of St Breward and it took a 40 minute walk across the moor to get a picture for us. You can see the matching trees from the screenshot and Bev's picture circled in red.

The Portwenn Players' Dance took place in the old Church Hall. This building is located at the top of Fore Street where Fore Street, New Road and Back Hill meet.

When Joe finds Martin leaving the hall where the dance is taking place, he tells him that Stewart has gone crazy at the back of Placetree Lane. When they arrive, they are walking from Middle Street, just in front of Brook Edge Cottage. They then walk behind The Manor House and look up to the elevated patios on the backs of the next two cottages on Church Hill (The Pip and Appletree Cottage). You can get a glimpse of this area from Google Street view on Church Hill. You can see Al running up the wooden staircase right next to the Manor House.

Mark and Martin driving to Stewart's house the morning after the dance was filmed at the old Davidstow Airfield, a location that the show often uses for driving scenes.

The building where Peter spends the night is again on the road that runs through the old Davidstow Airfield. You can see that it was shot from the left side of the building and you can see Brown Willy (right side of the Street View) behind the building.

This home contains two holiday lets. The ground floor is called "Northcliffe Garden Flat" and the first floor is called "Northcliffe".

When they see Peter walking on the road, he is walking right next to that building. When Mark chases Peter you can see Brown Willy off in the distance behind them. The camera moves to show Martin in the background and you can see Rough Tor behind him. In the Street View picture you can see both of those peaks off in the distance.

We found out that the Doc Martin crew erected the fence and blue painted gate just for the filming of this episode. On the satellite closeup view below that may be the outline of where the fence was placed (just above the house in this overhead view).

Bev suspects this scene may have been shot at Cardinham Woods (near Bodmin). We'll keep looking!

You can see the two different styles of windows from the interior of the building circled in red. They match the styles of the two circled windows on different sides of the building, so we know the interiors were filmed in that building.
