In the opening scene, Martin walks by a pair of sunbathers and closely examines a mole on the chest of one of the women. They are not amused with his attention and Louisa, who is sitting inside the pub reading a newspaper, calls Martin to the door to try to smooth things over. This is an interestingly shot scene. The women are sitting on a bench just outside of the door to The Mote and we see Martin walk to the door and look into the pub/restaurant to talk to Louisa. But Louisa is actually sitting at the bar in The Golden Lion, which is around the corner and up one story from the entrance to The Mote. So Martin's portion of the scene was shot on the Platt in front of The Mote, and Louisa's portion of the scene was shot around the corner inside The Golden Lion.

The bench is a few yards from the door of The Mote (circled). You walk up the hill and around the corner to get to The Golden Lion where the Louisa part of the scene was filmed.
.
This is the main door to The Golden Lion.
.
After walking in the door, the red arrow leads to the main part of the pub. There is another auxiliary bar to the side (circled) and that is where Louisa was filmed. In the screenshot above you can see through the door behind her to the main bar area. Just to the left of her face is the door that opens to the outside balcony.

Below is a picture of the main bar area of the pub. The red arrow is pointing to the auxiliary bar area where Louisa was sitting - with the doorway between the two areas behind her. The picture to the left is of the auxiliary bar. Louisa would be sitting just to the right of the taps.

On the satellite view below, the red circle is the area on The Platt and the doorway to The Mote where Martin and the sunbathers were filmed. The yellow circle is The Golden Lion Pub where Louisa was filmed.

The ice cream truck is located in the village car park near the top of the village. This series was filmed in 2004, and when I visited Port Isaac in 2016, the Kelly's Ice Cream truck was parked in that same car park every day.

Mrs Cronk's Fish and Chip Shop is located right around the corner from the Cronk home on Fore Street, right next to the building that was used for the Chemist in Series 1. The building they used is actually a fish and chip shop called The Takeaway. It's also directly across the road from the building used as the school. In Series 2 they will be in a different shop - one that is assumed to be in Portwenn but was actually filmed on Fore Street in Boscastle.

The Cronk house is located on Fore Street, just around the bend from where Fore Street turns away from the harbour to the northeast. When Peter, Martin and Louisa were in Mark's police vehicle they went right by the cottage at the bend, past the row of cottages that includes the one where Louisa will live in Series 3, and then onto The Platt right near The Mote restaurant.

This is the route taken by Mark from behind the Cronk's cottage (circled in red), past the cottage at the bend and then the row of cottages (yellow circles) and then down to The Platt (blue circle).

In this shot of the ambulance racing Peter to the hospital, we can see the silhouette of a church behind them. This is The Collegiate Church of St Endellion. In the map below the red circle shows the location of the ambulance, the yellow circle is the location of the church, and the red arrow indicates that the ambulance is actually headed toward Port Isaac and not away from the village. The hospital in Truro is far to the south and east of this location.

As they drive back to Portwenn, in this shot you can see the St Endellion church in the background, so it is almost in the same spot where we saw the ambulance on the way to the hospital. You can match the exact spot on the road with the church and the road sign.

In the maps below you can see the church at St Endellion and the location of the taxi in the blue circles. The blue arrow shows the direction the taxi is driving, which would be correct as they are heading to Port Isaac (yellow star). The yellow arrows indicate where the taxi would make the left turn to head to the village. But the red circles and arrows show the actual direction that the taxi is traveling and turning as they did the filming. I'm sure it was done that way so the crew did not need to block the main access road to Port Isaac for the filming.
.
Just as they are turning off the main road you can see this gate on the side of the road. Right after the gate they leave the main road to turn left on to this road.

After Louisa throws Martin out of the taxi, he climbs up to the field adjacent to the road, is greeted by the shaggy dog, and sets off across the beautiful countryside toward the village. In the maps below you can see the approximate area where Martin is walking. At the bottom of one of the maps, the red circle and arrow show the location and direction of the car as it left the main road. The exact place where the taxi stops remains a mystery since there is nothing along that stretch of the road that would give a clue to the location.
